When other manufacturers compete to make the most unique faceplate as possible, BQEYZ is making a simple yet elegant faceplate instead! Then, how about the sound quality? Is it simple too? Or rather elegant? Lets go review it!
Before i continue, i want to say thank you to Rifat Rif'at Mubarok that arrange this IEM Tour, and to BQEYZ Audio and Audio Geek "Brother_Hood of Audiophiles" that give me the chance to review this IEM.
𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦

Inside the box, we got standard accessories like cable jack 3.5mm, pouch case, manual guide book, and two kind of eartips, narrow and wide bore that come with 3 size. For the packaging and accessories, BQ10 is not the best if you compare it with other brand, but at least i can say that BQ10 is fulfilling the minimum standard of packaging and accessories in its price range.

With a “calmer” design than others IEM in the market right now, is the sound of BQ10 can stand out than the others? Lets talk about it!
𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘀
BQ10 have a focused mid bass, whereas the sub bass is not really present, you can feel it just in some part. The mid bass is good enough, not exaggerated, and not lacking too, it just sounds right! The drum impact at the beginning of Yorushika - Parade feel right, not overpowering the other sound frequencies but still built the tension and emotion of the song.

Yorushika - Haru is the song that i choose to test the mid frequencies of BQ10. The mid in BQ10 actually safe enough, not thin, but honestly i think suis vocal become dry and harsh in the upper midrange. I believe this is because the influence of BQ10 treble.
𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗹𝗲
Treble in BQ10 is extend and detail, treble is the most stand out frequencies in BQ10. Very stand out that it affect the upper midrange in BQ10.
I like to live like Larry, I, with full awareness, on purpose listening to Metallica - Master of Puppet to test the Treble in BQ10. This song have 1 minute full of cymbal crash at the beginning of the song, and because BQ10 is very aggresive, it hurt my ear.
Don’t take me wrong, the treble is good, but admittedly, for some song that have aggresive and high intensity of treble, BQ10 will make it more aggresive than before.

The micro detail is presented well enough, its not hard to listening the singer’s take breath sound or noise when recording in BQ10. The soundstage is not wide, its very unfortunately, because they already stated in the box description “gaming scene atmosphere tuning”. For separation its ok although it still overlap each other when many instrument played. Imaging and positioning make you feel the right and left sound, but its not good on told you the height and depth of the sound, its still 2D-ish.
𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬
As expected from a “calm” IEM, the fitting is “calm” too! Its feel very good to be honest, because the shape is very normal, don't have any weird edges, the size is not too big! The housing fit perfectly and comfortably when I use the IEM, Its not hurt my ear even though for a long listening session.
𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Honestly, the competition in under $30 IEM is very scary, and I believe the manufacturers know this too. So therefore, they are compete with each other to make a different and unique IEM. But, in the midst of fierce war, BQEYZ make a simple and not flashy IEM.
BQ10 have a simple yet elegant design, good enough bass, safe mid even though a little bit dry, aggressive treble but extend and detail. If the things i said is good for you, then test the BQ10 by yourself now!
