BQEYZ WINTERultra
2 out of 2, I´ve fallen again for BQEYZ since I tried the WIND this brand has once again been in my sights. As I mentioned in the recent WIND analysis, this brand with its peculiar profile attracted me because of its vivid treble & tons of detail.SETUP. 12mm Dual Cavity DD + 1 PZT Bone Conductor
SEN & IMP. 114dB/mW | 38Ω
PRICE. 299€ en BQEYZ Aliexpress
Looking at profiles of the latest releases, I saw that this WINTER ULTRA was something totally different from the WIND, and I wanted to see what they had to offer with that BONE CONDUCTOR along with a more relaxed presentation. That slight belly in the midbass is one that I like, so....
... I ended up pulling the trigger to see what they had to offer this time.

With a relaxed profile, contained scene and with some magic in the bass, the WINTER ULTRA has surprised me on a scale depending on which you plug it into. Anyone who has been reading me for a while knows that I am an AKM lover. But here a good ESS wins the game. Another very important detail is a good insertion seal, with a wide mouth tip, to extract every db of bass you can.

BASS *Extended, colorless with some punchiness. But they don't overwhelm, they just surround the scene, and add air. They take almost nothing away. BQEYZ has the ability to deliver high-quality bass without being boomy. *Dynamic, little bleeding, giving equal parts vibration as hitting. |
|
MIDS *Slightly delayed, especially on tracks with some load on the subbass. More comfortable in less heavy-duty productions. With tons of body, the piano packs a punch worth mentioning. *Certainly colored timbre, they do not suffer from bleeding, especially in the mid-high zone. |
|
TREBLE *Detail a little above average, they have a high amount of naturalness *Relaxed in nature, perhaps a little short of breath, these are not the kind of headphones that surround you details all around you. Rather, they want to hit you with the air on it. |

RATING A-
I've been enjoying flatter headphones for a while, and when I put on these WINTERultra I thought I'd have to add a few decibels to the bass again... but I was wrong.
It is an all-rounder capable of satisfying all of us who have been getting lost in headphones for a long time. This tuning, which now seems to be so much on everyone's lips, has been my favorite since some time ago they left me with some ANDROMEDA that I ended up changing for their better (and cheaper) FiiO FA7s cousins. This wonderful extension, but now with a dynamic driver and a bone conductor, makes it lose in scene & detail... but its gonna move your feet.
With a good seal, plus the comfort of the capsule, with an nice dac (the FiiO Q7 seems like the perfect pair to me) it´s capable of making you smile, because of how easy it is to scale. Also you can increase the volume without it being loud.
He doesn't know what it means to be out of tune, understanding very well that sometimes it is better to relax, on a cold winter afternoon, with good music, to enjoy.
Maybe a little bit pricey, with things to improve in the packaging, and it may not satisfy the analytical listeners... but for the rest, it´s capable of becoming a heaphones for any time and season.
Congratulations BQEYZ, you have earned a place in my collection by doing it well.
