from 71 reviewsWhen comparing the sound from the headphone jack on my PC (Windows 11) (S1220A chip + OPA1688) and the MOTU M4 headphone jack, there's a slight thickness in the low to mid-low range. Compared to the Apple USB-C adapter, there's also a slight thickness in the low to mid-low range. Perhaps because of this thickness, the EarPods' shrill mid-range (2KHz-4KHz) sounds a little milder. When I connected 300 headphones (Sennheiser HD600) to the PC's USB connection and turned the volume all the way up, the volume was loud enough to be annoying. I connected the Apple EarPods 3.5mm and tried using the remote control on my PC, and play/pause worked, but volume adjustment didn't. The Apple USB-C adapter allows play/pause and volume adjustment. I was able to record at 96KHz/24-bit using the free software Audacity. I was also able to test record Skype. While the price difference with the Apple USB-C adapter is ?1000, if you only want to play music, I recommend this product. 1. It can play high-quality PCM recordings. 2. This product's cable is more durable than the Apple USB-C cable, reducing the chance of having to replace it due to cable damage. It was shipped from China, but it arrived in 8 days. You'll also receive a shipping number, so please be patient. In China, the "Singles Day" sales period begins around November 11th, so delivery times may be delayed. Delivery times may also be delayed during the Lunar New Year (February). Regarding compatibility with iTunes on Windows, this is not a product issue (I think). When using this product with Windows 11, it uses Microsoft's standard Windows drivers. This product can play audio up to 384KHz/32bit, but the maximum sample rate in iTunes playback is 192Khz/24bit. Therefore, if you set the Windows driver to 384Khz/32bit and launch iTunes, no sound will be heard. To hear sound, you must change the iTunes output device from the default to USB-C Audio in the volume mixer. If you find it inconvenient to change the app's audio output destination in the volume mixer every time, you can simply set the driver to 192Khz/24bit and audio will play from iTunes without changing the settings.
I bought this because I wanted to use 4.4mm earphones with my iPhone 16. The resolution is lower than a dedicated DAP, but the sound is good enough that it's not noticeable at all. It actually sounds lively, and depending on the earphone, it can mellow out the harshness, so I'm thinking about using this. I'm glad I bought it.
This is my experience using this with my Xperia 10 III. I don't have any balanced headphones, so I chose the 3.5mm. I recently found a pair of inexpensive wired earphones I love, costing around ?3,000, and have been spending a lot more time listening to music. I was wondering if there was a way to improve the sound quality without spending too much money, and when I saw this product recommended on YouTube, I decided to give it a try since it wasn't too expensive. (Actually, I have a similar pair from another company that's a little cheaper, but the sound quality isn't as great.) I was excited, so I connected this product and my recently acquired favorite earphones to my Xperia 10 III and listened to my usual music...and wow, it really makes a difference (personally). The bass is tighter and more powerful, and I can hear sounds I couldn't hear before when using a direct earphone jack (I'm impressed!!). The sound field has also widened (the sound field isn't as wide when using a direct jack). I mostly listen to vocal-heavy songs, and now I can hear subtle voices I couldn't hear before. I'm a little excited (lol). So, as I wrote in the title, I thought it might be better to just skip the izakaya and buy this and listen to my favorite music. That's why I decided to write this review. However, since my smartphone is a mid-range 10 III, the sound quality of the headphone jack isn't that great to begin with, it's possible that there was a significant difference. If it were a 5 or 1, I think the sound quality of the headphone jack would be better than the 10, so the difference I noticed this time might not be as great. Maybe... I don't have one, so I don't know... But maybe? The cheaper the smartphone, the greater the effect. I don't know. If you're curious, or feel that way, then... It's not a particularly expensive product, so I think it's worth buying. Honestly, I wondered how much it would improve before I used it. I was worried about not seeing much improvement, but I'm glad I bought it. It really does transform the sound of my wired earphones. It doesn't just improve the sound by one level, it improves it by a whole lot. Listening to JUJU's "Stop This Night" on YouTube, you can clearly hear the subtle changes in her voice, making her sensual voice even more beautiful. The 3.5mm jack where it connects to the smartphone generates almost no heat, so there's no need to worry about overheating. However, it's unclear whether the quality of the audio source will improve when watching (listening) on ??YouTube. However, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I've found a product that I can highly recommend and am very satisfied with. (Please note that this is purely my personal opinion.) *Added on March 27, 2025 Maybe this is just happening on my device? I don't know, but I wanted to add that this is happening. When I connect this LIN to the Type-C port and use wired earphones, and listen to Amazon Music on my Pixel 8, a very noticeable, scratchy noise occurs about 10 seconds into the music playback. I don't experience any noise with the iPhone 15 or Xperia 10. This only applies to the Pixel 8. Incidentally, I tried replacing the headphones with other brands, and found that some produced noise and some didn't. *September 5, 2025 [Addendum lol] Previously, when using the headphones with the Pixel 8, about 10 seconds after music started playing, a terrible, scratchy noise would start to appear, making it completely unusable. Today, the Pixel 8 was updated, and finally, this unbearable noise issue has been largely resolved, although not completely. (Although it may vary from person to person, there is still some noise, but compared to before, it seems to have improved significantly.) Until now, I couldn't listen to Amazon Music on the Pixel 8 even if I wanted to (I also have an iPhone, so I listened on that), so now I can finally listen to Amazon Music on the Pixel 8! I used to subscribe to Amazon Music, and that's when I noticed the scratchy noise. Now, due to various circumstances, I have stopped paying for the subscription, but even if I pay for the subscription, will there be no noise? I'm not sure, but I think it's something to be hopeful about. After all, when listening to music at home, I want to use wired earphones with good sound quality.
Although it's pseudo-balanced, it has a sense of depth and the sound quality is good. The small size of the device means it doesn't get in the way. I think this size is sufficient for listening to wired earphones with a smartphone.
I think it's a good product without any strange flavorings. It has a luxurious look and is durable.
The sound is now clearer than the original Apple headphones! I think the sound quality has improved, but I think it's just a placebo effect! Since I bought the LIN headphones, I've been enjoying listening to music every day and have been wearing them all the time.
I know there are things like changes in sound quality and the built-in chip, but cheap connectors from 100 yen stores introduce a lot of noise during playback, so I'm happy just to have that clearer sound. I'm using a KZ ZAX and a TRN MT5 connected to my iPhone 15, but I wonder how much it would cost to achieve this sound quality without Chinese audio.
I've switched from these 3.5mm earphones to FiiO KA13 earphones to these 4.4mm earphones, and these are the best! The sound pressure level has improved dramatically since switching from the FiiO. This quality at this price... It's amazing.
Usable. No noise, so it's good. Good value for money.
I tried it with the company's Wind, and I'm very satisfied with the improved resolution, separation, and midrange, which were already sufficient with the original cable. Considering the effort it would take to upgrade with a cable in the same price range from another company, I thought it would be easier to just buy this cable. This is just my personal opinion, but I hope it will be helpful.
The midrange is a little delicate, but the best thing about them is that they are light and thin. The fit when hanging on the ears is by far the best, and they don't get tangled. To be honest, the cable is just so-so, so you should choose one that is easy to handle.
I think it's a must-have for people who use jacks of various sizes, as it saves you from having to swap cables.
I had just purchased the Kiwiears Quintet, but I was so captivated by the power of bone conduction that I couldn't resist buying these. This is a subjective review, but to sum up, the vocal resolution, clarity, and transparency are excellent. That said, the high and low frequencies aren't inferior at all, and the midrange is particularly impressive. I love female vocals, so this purchase was a great choice. I also listened to songs with male vocals, and the impression was unwaveringly excellent. I like the Quintet because of its vibrant high frequencies that seem to extend endlessly, but I feel the Wind has a better overall balance. I feel that re-cabling is unnecessary unless you have very specific requirements. They produce a good enough sound. I recommend choosing earpieces that provide a tight fit with the bone conduction unit (I use Korail, and I think they work well. I also tried the Spiral Dot++, but the fit wasn't as good for my ears). I hope this helps you decide which earpiece to buy.
I bought both the Winter Ultra and the Wind, but personally I preferred the Wind. It's a bone conduction headphone that focuses on vocals, but it's also very realistic, as expected from BQEYZ.
